Sourcing happens in thirty browser tabs. The Clipper collapses that: on any product page, one click files the product into the right project and room, with its trade details already extracted, so nothing is retyped and no link rots into a dead bookmark. Extraction is schema-verified rather than best-effort, and anything the reader is unsure of is surfaced for the designer to confirm instead of being silently guessed. Read page goes further on demand: one tap reads the page as you see it — signed-in trade sites included — and fills fields, category details and photos, each marked as read.
What it does
- Save a product from any vendor or retailer product page into a project
- Extract image, name, price, dimensions, materials, finish options and lead time
- File the clip into a chosen project, room and category at save time
- Match the product to an existing vendor record or create a new one
- Flag low-confidence extractions for designer confirmation rather than guessing
- Read page on demand — one tap reads the open page, signed-in trade sites included, and fills fields, category details and photos, each marked as read
- Show the category the page suggests as a proposal to confirm with a tap, and draw that category's own fields
- Keep anything you typed or picked with the wand; a read fills what's empty and never overwrites your own values
- Add extra dimensions — seat height, knee clearance — from the category's suggested labels
What it doesn't do
- Chrome only. There is no Safari or Firefox extension
- Sites that render prices client-side after interaction may extract incompletely
- Not a price monitor — a clip is a snapshot, not a live feed
- Read page runs only when asked and takes about half a minute. The instant capture fills the panel first
- Read page reads the page in front of you. It does not follow links to other pages
